A reverse miniature in hommage to Van Gogh.The influence of Van Gogh is undeniable in these three paintings, both in the different shades of yellow and orange, and in the subject of flowers, recalling Vincent’s Sunflowers. However, instead of a smaller rendering of sunflowers in a large vase, in these fairly large canvasses, Jim has painted small yellow daisies, held in an eggcup.
